A new consumer website has been created to promote the Kiku apple variety.
www.kiku.it features recipes, news, curiosities and information about apples with a particular emphasis on KIKU®. The ruby-striped, sweet apple being grown around the world and marketed in Europe by partners in the KIKU-Pool Europe.
The variety was brought to Europe in 1990 by South Tyrolean fruit grower Luis Braun, who brought a branch of a Fuji tree back from a visit to Japan The KIKU trademark and logo are now protected, with the logo promising consumers “Fresh Apple Emotion”.
