Jack Cross, one of the fresh produce industry’s most renowned characters, died at the age of 97 on June 21.
Cross was one of the original founders of JV White (Northern) Ltd Liverpool and spent a long career in the wholesale importing business in the North West.
Outside the fresh produce industry, he was a director of Liverpool football club for many years. He will be sadly missed.
