Leading fruit supplier Empire World Trade has had a minority stake of its business bought out by two prolific investors in small to medium-size entities (SMEs).
ISIS Equity Partners and global financier HSBC bought the stake from 3i, a private equity and venture capital specialist, for an undisclosed sum.
Austin Moore, which represented EWT’s management team on its original management buy-out in 1997, advised the Spalding-based top-fruit specialist’s shareholders.
