Two Kent importers have helped raised £75,000 for charity following a fundraiser last month.
The event was held at the Gallivant Hotel in Camber, and was sponsored by Hars & Hagebauer and Griffin & Brand. The vast majority of cash raised came from customers and associates in the fruit trade.
The money raised has been donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
This is the second year the companies have raised a significant sum for charity, following last year’s £50,000 donation.
