HL Hall & Sons, well known for its South African avocado production, is expanding its European presence with the opening of a French office.

Paul Devlin, director of HL Hall (International) Ltd, said: “With a good avocado crop in 2009, new lines of supply and our reputation for exceptional quality and service, we were able to develop new relationships with customers across the continent, particularly in the French retail and wholesale markets.”

Some of the existing European trading team, to date based in Kent, will be relocating to France to take up their new positions. The UK sales force will continue to operate out of Kent.
