A management reshuffle at G’s Marketing has resulted in the promotion of two senior figures within the company.
Alan Christie, former managing director of G’s Fresh Vegetables and G’s Czech, will become md of G’s Europe in a role that will include responsibility for G’s España, Pascual Marketing and G’s Czech.
Christie has already moved to Spain as part of the handover period and takes on the full role from 1 April. David Abram is continuing as chairman of G’s España.
Meanwhile, former head of group purchasing Nick Douglas has taken up the position of general manager for G’s Ramsey site and the onion and garlic business.
Last year G’s Marketing recorded a pre-tax profit of £2.7m, a £500,000 increase that the company attributed to improved cost control.
