Greyfriars, the mushroom producer and marketer from North Yorkshire, has appointed a new general manager at its mushroom farming operation division in Wath.
Gavin Coventry, previously a farm manager with Monaghan Mushrooms, has 16 years experience in both growing mushrooms and managing mushroom operations.
Greyfriars’ managing director, John Smith said: “Gavin joins us at a time when we are embarking on a period of investment in our core activities, as well as continuing our successful diversification into new fresh produce areas. His experience at all levels of the industry will help us continue to drive the market and meet the demands of the major supermarkets.”
