GREENERY UK has been awarded the higher level certificate, under the BRC code.

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) awards this technical standard of food quality and safety at three levels. The highest of the three is a 'commendation of good practice', which is only awarded in the UK.

Greenery UK has accomplished this feat within three months, during a period of integration of companies in the Minnaar Group into The Greenery.

Jacqueline Court, spokesperson for the company, said: 'We are dedicated to the UK market, so naturally we are pleased with the award. We join a select group as one of the few companies from the continent to receive this prestigious certificate.'
