Verbena Tukana Hot Pink and Salmon mixed with Raspberry

S&G Flowers has revealed its latest collection of varieties, due to go on sale for the 2007/2008 season.

‘Artist’ is a new bicoloured blue and white Ageratum, which is cutting-raised and produces a well-branched plant which has no need for pinching or growth regulation. It does not set seed, which means less maintenance on the bench and continuous flowering as the old flowers are overgrown by the new.

Anrgyranthemum ‘Molimba’ are naturally self-branching and non-stretching, which make the use of growth regulators and pinching optional. Their heat resistant and self-cleaning habit ensures continous flowering. New colours include ‘Maggy’, ‘Primrose Anenome’, ‘Rose’, ‘Monroe Lemon Anenome’, and ‘Pink’.

Impatiens ‘Spellbound’ will have two new colours: ‘Scarlet Sprite’ and ‘Pinkerbell’. The flower, which is now approaching its fourth year in the market place, is highly weather resistant with large flowers and sturdy stems. Labels, point of sale materials and banners are available to support Spellbound sales in garden centres.

Finally, ‘Turkana’ is a large flowered, broad leafed Verbena, with mildew resistance, a strong growing havit and non-seed setting flowers, which ensures a tidy plant all through the summer. This season will see two new colours: ‘Hot Pink’ and ‘Salmon’.
