The Freight Transport Association has announced the appointment of a number of new managers.
Richard White has been appointed general manager of sales and will be responsible for all aspects of the sale of FTA membership and product services.
Julian Barker has become manager for project and product development, responsible for the implementation of new product developments including vehicle inspections, tachograph services, training and consultancy.
The new manager for strategic policy campaigns is Jo Ingham, who will be promoting key industry campaign targets including infrastructure, image and transport policy.
At the end of December, FTA’s longest serving member of staff, Robin Sharp, retired from the post of head of development after 37 years’ service in various roles at the Association.
During his career, Robin worked as head of vehicle inspection service, head of tachograph services, head of health and safety and technical training manager.
