Fruit Logistica is continuing to gear up for its spead to other continents. Asia Fruit Logistica, which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 5-7 2007, will host fresh fruit and vegetable companies and organisations from some 22 different countries all over the world, including many from Asia.

"There is a very strong focus on the region of Asia," explained Gérald Lamusse, managing director of Asia Fruit Logistica. "Companies and organisations from China, Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea andSri Lanka are going to exhibit and we are delighted to announce national pavilions from Taiwan and Thailand."

In addition, AFL has attracted exhibiting companies and organisations from leading supplying countries outsideAsia. Australia, South Africa, Argentina and France will be exhibiting under their own national pavilions, while major fresh produce exporters from the USA, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK are also going to be at the trade fair.

The co-location of AFL with the Asiafruit Congress offers even bigger opportunities for visitors. The Asiafruit Congress, the leading fresh produce conference event in Asia which has been held annually in the region since the mid-1990s, takes place alongside Asia Fruit Logistica at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in central Bangkok.
