Del Monte has launched a new range of fruit-based drinks aimed at UK adults.
Del Monte Occasions combine fruit with the flavour of classic drinks, with the company suggesting the drinks either be served with ice or blended with alcohol.
The company believes the drinks can provide a popular alternative in the non-alcoholic sector, and the range is inspired by classics such as Pineapple Mojito, Spicy Tomato, Fruit Cup and a new blend, Orchard Zest.
'Traditionally, get-togethers go hand in hand with a celebratory drink,' said Tony Gill, commercial director of Del Monte UK. 'The new Occasions juice range provides non-drinkers with something a bit more special than standard soft drinks. The product is so versatile that it can also be served with alcohol, making it ideal as an easy-to-make cocktail or high ball.'
The new range will launch in 2013 at an RSP of £1.99. Tesco will be first to stock the line, with further flavours planned.
