Fyffes' former chief executive is leaving the company's board after more than 20 years.
Jimmy Tolan began working with the business in 1990 and became director in 1999.
In 2006, he took over as CEO but in 2008 he resigned to take up the role of chief executive at Vhi Healthcare. He remained on the board as a non-executive director.
Fyffes chairman David McCann said: "Jimmy has made a very significant contribution to the development of Fyffes for more than 20 years.
“He developed a deep understanding of the fresh produce industry and we thank him for his much valued advice over the years.
"We wish him well for the future and are pleased that he will continue his association with Fyffes in a consultancy capacity in the future."
