Florette gets passionate

Florette salads are set to return to television screens this week as part of a new £3 million ad campaign.

Using the tag-line ‘Florette, raw passion… in a bag’, the adverts will be airing on GMTV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and various satellite channels from this week and throughout September.

The concept, created by agency Hooper Galton, sees farmers and growers coming together in a field and singing about salad in an operatic and humorous style.

Claire Jenkins, marketing manager, said: “We are delighted with the new advertisment, which completely reflects our enthusiasm for the brand and its products.

“The campaign is truly original and Florette continues the trend for not only pioneering innovation, but also marketing and PR within the category as a whole.”

The move, which is in support of ongoing press and pr activity, marks a move away from the organisation’s previous television campaigns, which carried the tag-line ‘never forgette Florette’.
