Florette appoints new manager

Florette has appointed Tony Walsh as a new category manager.

In his new role, Walsh will build on the brand’s track record of using consumer and category insight as well as marketing investment to drive prepared salad growth, according to the company.

Walsh has spent the last 11 years working in wines and spirits at Western Wines and Nielsen, with a focus on the Diageo portfolio in his latter role.

“Although Florette operates in a very different category I’m able readily to apply category management expertise on the role of brand, the importance of consumer insight and the drivers behind category growth,” he said.
