Exosect, a leading provider of intelligent pest management solutions, has announced the appointment of Robert Hend as its regulatory affairs manager within the company’s research and development team. With more than 20 years’ experience in the agrochemical and speciality chemicals sectors, Hend has previously worked for several leading edge, global, research-based companies and brings with him strong knowledge of the crop protection sector.

As regulatory affairs manager, Hend’s responsibilities will include the effective management and compilation of regulatory dossiers, as well as the production of robust study summaries and appropriate risk assessments. He will also continue Exosect’s development of relationships with regulatory personnel within the ranks of suppliers, external contractors and competent authorities.

Prior to his appointment, Hend was regulatory affairs manager for a range of insecticides and fungicides at Syngenta, the world leading agricultural business committed to crop protection.

Martin Brown, Exosect’s managing director added: “Due to the rapid development of Exosect’s product range and its expansion into new territories, it is now at a stage in its growth where it needs a professional and experienced regulatory affairs manager. Robert has a wealth of experience in producing and submitting major dossiers for some of the world’s most important crop protection products, and has a proven history in leading industry teams in sustaining product registration. We are therefore delighted that he has agreed to join the Exosect team.”
