Lincolnshire seeds firm Elsoms Seeds has appointed Martin Jenkins as regional vegetable sales specialist for Scotland and north east England.
Elsoms said Jenkins’ addition to the vegetable sales team will part of its strategy to develop a wide range of vegetable crops in the north, and he will help the company meet “key business targets”.
His responsibilities will include customer contact, assisting with field trials and providing technical support.
Jenkins, who was brought up in Perthshire, has experience in sales and customer care during his previous career.
“I am looking forward to building on my experience in this new position at Elsoms Seeds,” he said. “I will also look forward to expanding my knowledge of the vegetable world and working with the team at Elsoms to continue to provide quality products and a first-class service to the growers in Scotland and the North East.”
