Head of crop associations at the British Growers Association (BGA), Jayne Dyas, recently celebrated 25 years at the organisation and was thanked for her hard work.

In recognition of her dedication to the industry, Dyas was presented with a pair of diamond earrings by BGA chief executive Jack Ward.

As part of her role, Dyas looks after the asparagus, onions, leafy salads and brassica associations among others, and is well-known across the horticulture sector.

She began with the BGA as one of four staff members, and has seen it grow to 14 and witnessed a location change to Nottingham Road in Louth, Lincolnshire.

“[Jayne Dyas] has helped establish British Growers as a respected and trusted home for many organisations and her knowledge and ability has been recognised, and praised, by crop association chairmen, past and present,” a statement from the BGA said.
