Rovero Roll-Air greenhouses are set to come to the UK with Cambridge Glasshouse Company already appointed sole distributor for the Dutch technology.
Roll-Air is designed and manufactured in the Netherlands and is clad in polythene. Its unique selling point is that the polythene rolls back completely into its frame unlike similar tunnels and protective structures. This feature allows the roof and, or the sides of the greenhouse to be opened up fully in seconds.
"Rovero Roll-Air greenhouses are extremely popular in Europe, and we're convinced that there's a strong market here in the UK," said Steve Hinch, director of the Cambridge Glasshouse Company. "The sheer flexibility
that a Roll-Air can provide will be of particular interest to the ornamental horticulture, nursery and garden centre sectors. It's perfect for example for the production of bedding plants. The polythene film will give
protection at the beginning of the season, but when it comes to hardening off, you can just flick a switch to expose your crop to the elements."
