Defra’s plant health section experienced IT problems last week resulting in the e-mailing of remittances for payments made as far back as 2004. The department has requested that anyone receiving such mails from the address PRBA Workflow Mailer with the subject “FYI: Remittance Advice” should ignore them. Valid Defra remittance e-mails are sent from payments.york@defra.gsi.gov.uk with the subject “BACS Remittance Advice”.
