An international fruit-juice brand is to be distributed in the UK by Dairy Farmers of Britain (DFB).
DFB has secured the deal with the Eckes-Granini Group, a leading European producer of branded fruit beverages that are already available in more than 70 countries worldwide.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for us and for all our members,” David Potts, DFB group commercial director, told Farmers’ Guardian, adding that the deal will generate a good revenue stream for the co-op.
Thomas Hinderer, chief executive officer of the Eckes-Granini Group, said: “Dairy Farmers of Britain impressed us with their established and well proven distribution channels.”
