Borough Market will celebrate the London Olympics by opening its doors seven days a week during the Games.
From 25 July to 12 August and 29 August to 9 September, the wholesale market, which claims to have first opened as far back as 1014, will be opening seven days a week for the first time in its history.
Keith Davis, managing director of Borough Market, said: “Borough Market is proud to be opening its gates seven days a week during what is set to be a unique and historic summer for London.
"Our traders will be on hand offering shoppers the chance to experience the best of British and international fresh produce.”
