Driscoll’s has announced that Soren Bjorn has joined its executive management team as senior vice president of international business.
Bjorn has held a number of leadership positions including his most recent role as vice president, co-pack and operations transformation at Del Monte Foods, San Francisco, California, and a previous position as president and ceo of Unimark Foods.
Miles Reiter, chairman and ceo of Driscoll's, said: “Soren has a breadth of experience in agricultural business on an international level that will contribute immediately to our short- and long-term goals.”
Bjorn added: “I am excited to join a fast-growing industry leader like Driscoll’s.
“I look forward to building on Driscoll’s successful partnerships with growers around the world to produce and supply premium quality berries to international customers.”
