The chairman of soft fruit growers' group Berry Gardens will be joining speakers at the FPJ Conferences - South East as part of the session entitled Pushing the Product.

Paul Kelsey will share his thoughts on why there is strength in numbers, in terms of both both grower groups and varietal work, and give delegates an insight into how progress can be achieved in the South East region,

During the networking lunch, and amongst the farmers' market-style expo, foodservice firm Reynolds' chef director and Kent local Ian Nottage will be gathering regional fresh produce as part of a cookery demonstration to show how accessible and versatile food grown within the area is.

With three weeks to go until the FPJ Conferences - South East event, it's shaping up to be a jam-packed day with speakers National Fruit Show chair Sarah Calcutt, Mustard Communications' Wendy Akers, NCGM's Zeenat Anjari and Jan Lloyd, Hadlow Colleges' Mark Lumsdon-Taylor, Thanet Earth's Judy Whittaker, NFU's Sarah Pettitt and QV Foods' Simon Martin addressing how relationships can be improved within the South East region.
