Fresh and exotic produce specialist Beacon Foods has appointed a new director.
Former human resources specialist Linda Lloyd has joined Beacon’s board after working as a consultant for company for the last eight years.
“I feel privileged and delighted to have been invited to join the board of a very successful family-owned company,” she said. “The company is successful because of its excellent products, customer care and the good relationship between management and staff.
“My role will be to continue the company's good work by ensuring that people are trained and developed to fulfil their potential and they have the skills and attributes to take the company further.”
Managing director Edward Gough said: “Linda has been a great asset to the company over the past eight years and we value her expertise and guidance, which has made a significant contribution to our successful growth.”
