Russian importer Baltfruit has been confirmed as the official sponsor for the second edition of IFE Fresh Produce, which will take place on 23-25 October at Expocentr, Moscow.

Vyacheslav Pershin, deputy general director of Baltfruit Holdings, said: “It is very important for us that Russia has finally got a niche event for the fruit and vegetable industry. IFE Fresh Produce is a great marketplace for anyone for everyone in the world involved in the fresh produce trade. Baltfruit is one of Russia’s top five fresh produce importers, and has developed extensive contacts with top industry professionals.

Many of the 22 countries that supported the show in 2006 are returning, and new countries represented this year include Iran, the US, Malaysia, Serbia, South Korea, Moldova and Sri Lanka, offering a stronger international presence at the event.
