Aviko, the number one manufacturer of chilled chips and potato products in Europe, has launched a summer range for health conscious consumers.
The Steam and Fresh products contain up to 20 per cent more vitamin B1 and 30 per cent vitamin C than a standard boiled or blanched potato, said the Dutch firm.
Each product is free from additives and contains 0g of fat when cooked in a steamer. The range will be marketed as the perfect accompaniment to summer BBQs and salads.
