Asia Fruit Logistica attracts worldwide interest

Asia Fruit Logistica, which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 5-7, 2007, will host fresh fruit and vegetable companies and organisations from 22 different countries, including many from Asia.

"There is a very strong focus on the region of Asia," said Gérald Lamusse, managing director of Asia Fruit Logistica. "Companies and organisations from China, Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea and Sri Lanka are going to exhibit and we are delighted to announce national pavilions from Taiwan and Thailand."

In addition, Asia Fruit Logistica has attracted exhibiting companies and organisations from Australia, South Africa, Argentina and France, which will exhibit under their own national pavilions, while major fresh produce exporters from the US, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK are also going to be at the trade fair.

Among the companies exhibiting are major suppliers such as Dole Asia, Chiquita, Enza Turners & Growers, Zespri, California Table Grape Commission, California Tree Agreement, Pear Bureau Northwest, Washington Apple Commission, Australia Fresh, San Miguel, The Greenery, Royal Fruitmasters Group, Domex and SATI South Africa Table Grape Industry as well as leading Asian fresh produce companies such as Alfa Fruit Packers, Heibei Tianbo, Sanmenxia Golden Autumn Fruit Products and Huasheng. Asia Fruit Logistica will also host some of the world's leading fresh produce logistics and equipment companies, such as Sinclair International, Greefa, ILPA, MAF Roda, Rijk Zwaan, SGS, Bayer CropScience, FOMESA, Compac Sorting, AFL, FMC Foodtech, and Hort Research.
