Asda is stocking a new premium East Anglian potato, Norfolk Peer. Heygate Farms Swaffham has teamed up with Fenmarc Produce to fulfil Asda’s requirements across 17 stores.
William Gribbon (pictured), farm manager at Heygate Farms, has developed the new potato to be “smaller and tastier” than other new potatoes.
“This is a very exciting time for the farm. Norfolk Peer is a carefully selected, premium new potato - and Asda has very high standards,” he said.
