Anglia Business Solutions regretfully announces the death of Bob Rose last weekend.
Bob was the business development manager for Anglia’s LINKFresh fresh produce package and was very well known within the industry. Commenting on the sad news, Anglia’s managing director David Hurley said: “Bob felt very much at home with the people in the fresh produce industry and was very pleased to join us to head up our entry into the market three years ago. He had an in-depth understanding of the challenges that they faced and was an enthusiastic champion of how information technology could help them compete in their businesses.
“Bob was a larger-than-life character with a sparkling personality and an irrepressible sense of humour. He will be greatly missed by his customers and all of his colleagues at Anglia. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family as they struggle to cope with this sad loss.”
Bob was 52 and leaves a wife and two children.
Bob’s funeral is next Wednesday, November 22, at 10am at Main Chapel, Wilford Hill Crematorium, Loughborough Road, Nottingham, NG2 7FE.
Flowers should be sent to G Harrod & Sons, 9 Church Street, Carlton, Nottingham, NG4 1BJ. Alternatively donations for the British Heart Foundation would be gratefully received.
