IT specialist Anglia Business Solutions is inviting delegates to its Cambridge base to gain an overview of its groundbreaking system.

Anglia’s triple award-winning Microsoft based LINKFresh suite is replacing some older legacy technology systems to provide real time information to deal with commercial demands. However, recent advances in business solutions are beginning to have a significant positive impact in helping firms compete.

The company is holding a free executive briefing on March 25, where delegates will gain an overview on how it can help.

Nigel Jenney, ceo of the Fresh Produce Consortium, will speak at the event on the challenges facing the fresh food industry and will look forward to what 2009 holds. Delegates will also hear from Microsoft on how they are supporting the food sector. The session will also feature the newly launched Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 platform at the heart of the LINKFresh solution.

The full range of LINKFresh leading edge mobility applications will also be demonstrated including QC, label checking and warehouse operations.

Anglia’s managing director David Hurley said: “The feedback we are getting from our LINKFresh customers is most encouraging. The solution has helped them to significantly improve their business performances and compete during the current downturn. Getting a real time view of their supply chain has helped reduce costs while improving margins.

“The event will provide attendees with innovative ideas where global leading edge applications can assist in tackling the pain points experienced by many food distributors and manufacturers.”
