Lincolnshire veg grower A.H. Worth has unveiled former Bakkavor manager David Hinsley as its new chief operating officer.
Hinsley takes up the role with a strong background in food manufacturing across different categories. His impressive line-up of previous companies includes Bakkavor, Innovative Foods, Heinz, Kerry Foods and Swiss baked goods business ARYZTA.
A.H Worth stated that Hinsley will focus on “further developing its supply chain capabilities” as it continues to adapt to the “ever changing climate we find ourselves in'.
Hinsley said: “In what are very challenging times, I am very excited at being given this fantastic opportunity to join a very progressive and enterprising organisation and I look forward to getting stuck in.”
AH Worth chief executive Duncan Worth added: “I am thrilled David has agreed to join A.H. Worth, his extensive knowledge and experience coupled with his enthusiasm will maximise our business capabilities to its fullest.”
Last year A.H. Worth underwent a rebrand, changing its brand name from QV Foods to its parent company name A.H. Worth (named after its founder Arthur Hovenden Worth).
The business primarily grows potatoes, alongside leeks, sweetcorn, garlic and onions. It also produces prepared potato products from its Fresh Prepared Facility.
