Environmental consultancy ADAS scooped the ‘Best Consultancy to Work For’ award for a second year running at Edie Environmental Excellence Awards at London’s prestigious Hurlingham Club this month.

ADAS - who came out top of a secret ballot for the award - was chosen ahead of shortlisted companies Arup, Atkins, Mott MacDonald and SKM Enviros.

ADAS was also nominated in both the ‘Sustainable Transport’ and ‘Carbon Reduction’ project categories. In total nine ADAS staff attended the awards.

Environment director Martin Buckland, said: “ADAS is very proud to win the Edie’s ‘Best Consultancy’ award for another year. We have always said that ADAS is a people business and our staff are our main asset. I would like to thank our staff for all their hard work to enable us to win these awards. I would also like to thank all the people that voted for us again. It shows we are still the consultant’s consultancy.

“Considering the high level of entrants in this year’s project awards, just being nominated in both these categories is excellent. ADAS has been doing great work, helping businesses become more sustainable and developing our environmental services; the nominations show our dedication to these areas has been noticed.”

ADAS comprises more than 500 staff covering over 60 specialisms, operating from a network of offices and research sites in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
