LINPAC Plastics, the largest division of the LINPAC Group, has been renamed LINPAC Packaging in an attempt to better represent its activities.
This decision follows the appointment of Ralf K Wunderlich as president and managing director of the division in January and aims to provide a strong platform for establishing and promoting the LINPAC Group’s vision to provide technologically advanced packaging solutions to our customers.
“The name, LINPAC Packaging, better represents the products and services offered by this division and allows us to position the business more clearly as a best in class packaging solutions provider,” said Wunderlich. “LINPAC Packaging has been very successful in the past year, through its innovative approach to its services and products. It is an industry leader, being truly international, and I am confident our new name will help us reflect this.”
LINPAC Packaging is a global packaging company with divisional sales of approximately 940 million euros and employs more than 5,000 people within 37 sites across 19 countries.
Mike Arrowsmith, ceo of the LINPAC Group said: “It is our aim to create more consistency across the group, through our branding, demonstrating to customers and other stakeholders the scale and range of packaging and material handling solutions we can offer.”
