More than 100 people gathered at one of Madrid’s leading organic food markets recently for an evening of reflection and debate on the latest trends in the food market organised by Vitalis, the organic seeds division of Enza Zaden.
The event included presentations from Dutch trader Eosta, well known for its commitment to natural branding and reducing the use of plastic in packaging; Carrefour Bio, which shared its commitment to continue expanding its organics offer; start-up Foodinthebox, who discussed the growing meal kits market; and Aitor Sanchez, nutritionist and influencer who reflected on how to make fruit and vegetables more attractive to consumers.
“The evening was an opportunity for attendees to share a motivating and inspirational evening of discussion and shared experiences in an incomparable setting,” Vitalis said.
The event was held at El Huerto de Lucas, an organic food market located in Madrid’s hip Chueca neighbourhood.
It took place during Fruit Attraction, where Enza Zaden’s flagship products including Tribelli peppers, TomAzur organic tomatoes were on display at the stands of several Spanish companies.
