The fourth edition of the annual Sustainable Foods Summit is set to take place in Amsterdam on 23-24 June, bringing together food manufacturers, retailers, distributors, certification agencies and researchers, among other groups.
The event focuses on the key issues faced by the food industry concerning sustainability and eco-labels, including organic, fair trade and Rainforest Alliance.
According to organisers Organic Monitor, this year's Summit will include sessions on pioneering sustainability initiatives, climate change strategies and marketing and distribution innovations.
Case studies will also be given of food companies that have succeeded in pushing the boundaries of eco-labels and sustainability, Organic Monitor revealed.
