For the back-to-school period, French interprofessional organisation Interfel has this year decided to invest in television advertising to promote French fruit and vegetables, as well as several ways to enliven in-store fresh produce displays.
Approximately €500,000 has been set aside for the TV adverts, with €40,000 made available for posters, featuring seasonal fresh produce characters such as Mrs Apple, Mr Grape, Mrs Nectarine and Mrs Courgette.
This year more than any other, the campaign will reportedly target young workers, with workshops at the Fraîch’Attitude kitchen in Paris held later in the evening, at 6pm-8pm on 1-11 September.
