French interprofessional organisation Interfel launches the Fête des Fruits et Légumes Frais on 10-19 June, with the aim of encouraging the public, especially children and their parents, to discover or rediscover fresh fruit and vegetables.
The event provides a fresh look for Fraîch’attitude Week, which had been the name for the previous eleven installments, and uses the tricolore design of Interfel. Vivez la Fraîch'attitude will remain the tagline for the occasion.
In addition to promoting the different flavours and textures available in the fruit and vegetables sector, efforts will be made to highlight the importance of seasonality and to persuade families to cook more at home, with advice, tricks and recipes provided. The ultimate goal is apparently to encourage people to eat fruit and vegetables every day.
The celebrations will also offer an occasion for professionals in the sector to meet with the public, in order to share their knowledge and promote the benefits of eating fruit and vegetables each day.
