Dutch greenhouse experts from HortiRoad2India will be back in India on 13-22 November to promote collaboration in sustainable food systems via innovative solutions
Dutch pioneers in sustainable greenhouse horticulture say that cutting-edge technology is the key to an efficient supply for high-quality fruits and vegetables, both for domestic and foreign consumption.
A delegation from HortiRoad2India is returning to India in November, with a visit to the Krishi Bharat Conference in Lucknow, and meetings with potential partners in Chennai and Hyderabad.
“We believe we can make great impact on India’s food system together,” said Desh Ramnath, director India at Dutch Greenhouse Delta and coordinator of HortiRoad2India.
“This public-private consortium of leading horticulture companies focuses on creating long-term Indo-Dutch partnerships with a mission to explore and support India’s evolving food ecosystem. HortiRoad2India is led by Dutch Greenhouse Delta, Innovation Quarter and Rotterdam partners, and supported by the government of the Netherlands.”
HortiRoad2India said its experts were “ready to connect with investors, forward-thinking growers, retailers and food service businesses eager to invest in the future of food. The delegation is eager to learn from the value chain, co-create with the value chain, and co-develop new solutions for abundant sustainable clean food production”.
