Nominations for the 2025 Seeka Marketer of the Year Award will now close on Monday 21 April
The International Fresh Produce Association Australia New Zealand (IFPA ANZ) and Produce Plus Magazine have confirmed an extension to the entry deadline for the 2025 Seeka Marketer of the Year Award (MOYA). The new deadline is Monday 21 April.
The award is open to any individual or team, with nominees sought from all parts of the value chain. Each nomination is judged on the ability to develop and execute a highly visible and effective marketing campaign.
This includes any campaigns conducted in Australia and New Zealand and international campaigns conducted by Australasian entities. Self-nominations and nominations by third parties are welcome.
Last year’s winner, Perfection Fresh Australia group marketing manager Kristie Emerson, highlighted the value in entering the award.
“Winning the 2024 Seeka Marketer of the Year Award for our Qukes ‘Quke O’Qlock’ campaign was a proud moment for our team. It recognised the strategy, creativity and collaboration behind a campaign designed to shift perceptions and spark healthier habits,” said Emerson.
“For those considering entering this year, it’s a valuable opportunity to showcase your team’s hard work and highlight the role marketing plays in helping more people connect with fresh, healthy food.”
IFPA ANZ managing director Belinda Wilson added: “In 2025, marketing excellence in fresh produce and floral is more important than ever. It’s not just about promotion – it’s about inspiring healthier choices, driving demand, and delivering value across the supply chain. The more we connect with consumers through clever, creative campaigns, the more we grow awareness, consumption, and ultimately, the success of our industry.”
Produce Plus editor Liam O’Callaghan said: “Crafting a winning entry takes careful consideration and we want to give all entrants the opportunity to put together the best nomination possible.”
Three finalists will be selected from the field of entries and will deliver presentations on their campaigns at the annual MOYA showcase held at the largest horticulture conference and trade show in Australasia – Hort Connections – in Brisbane on 4-6 June 2025.
The winner will be presented at the Hort Connections Gala Dinner as part of the 2025 Horticulture Awards for Excellence on 6 June 2025.
