Additions push Mega Screen detection to over 480 residues boosting coverage, compliance, and spray drift monitoring
FreshTest, a residue and microbial testing initiative from Fresh Markets Australia (FMA), will now detect over 480 analytes across multiple crops after the programme added 12 new analytes.
The new analytes, which cover a range of herbicides, fungicides and insecticides, will be included in FreshTest’s Mega Screens including fruit and vegetable screening, avocado screening, honey, almond and dried fruit compliance and soil and compost residue analysis.
The move strengthens FreshTest’s role as Australia’s most comprehensive residue testing programme, supporting growers to maintain safety and compliance to both Australian and export standards.
