The Marketer of the Year Award (MOYA) is the preeminent award recognising outstanding achievement in the marketing of fresh fruit, vegetables, and flowers in Australia and/or New Zealand.
MOYA was launched in 2012 by the International Fresh Produce Association Australia-New Zealand (then PMA Australia-New Zealand) and Produce Plus magazine to formally acknowledge the top marketing efforts in the fresh produce and floral industries.
MOYA was the only award presented at PMA Fresh Connections Gala Dinner each year until 2017 when AUSVEG and PMA Australia-New Zealand joined forces to establish Hort Connections. The award has since been included in the Horticulture Awards for Excellence.
Seeka joined as the premier sponsor of MOYA in 2020.
From each year’s entries a number of finalists are chosen to present their campaigns at the ‘MOYA Showcase’ on the trade show floor at Hort Connections.
