Blueberry brand extends sponsorship commitments to university sport, where it sees big scope to promote the fruit as a healthy snack
Blueberry brand The Fruitist has secured another high-profile connection in the world of sport by partnering with the University of Southern California’s (USC) Trojans.
The sponsorship will see its fruit promoted as the official superfruit snack of the USC Trojans and USC Athletics at sporting events including American football and basketball.
According to the group, the strategic partnership underscores Fruitist’s commitment to fostering healthier lifestyles by connecting with students, athletes, and fans through their love of sports.
“We are thrilled to partner with USC, a world-class institution known for its excellence in academics and athletics,” said Steve Magami, CEO of Agrovision.
“This partnership reflects our dedication to fuelling active lifestyles with our blueberries and superfruits that inspire better snacking habits. We look forward to enhancing the game-day experience and supporting the Trojans’ journey to victory.”
Fruitist said it planned to arrange promotions in stadiums, student engagement activities, social media campaigns, and exclusive giveaways, “helping Trojan athletes and fans make healthier snacking choices both on and off the field”.
In February 2024, Fruitist secured a multi-year sponsorship deal with Major League Soccer team DC United.
