New addition to group’s Sunset-branded range apparently ‘like no other traditional strawberry’
North American marketer Mastronardi Produce has expanded its Sunset-branded range with the addition of a premium strawberry called Wow Utopia.
According to the company, the hand-picked, non-GMO variety is like no other traditional strawberry because it delivers “distinct sweetness and juiciness with balanced acidity and fragrant aroma”.
The company will present the variety at next week’s Global Produce and Floral Show in Atlanta, where it will underline the product’s enhanced flavour, uniform appearance, and elegant packaging.

“All the unique elements of our Wow Utopia berries, from the taste to the packaging, each element harmoniously joins together to bring our vision of the finest strawberry experience to life. We are excited to see these elevated strawberries on the shelves.”
Each Wow Utopia berry is hand-picked and packed in a modern, two-piece carrier built to precisely fit the berry’s signature proportions, the group noted.
Sleek, matte-black labelling banded with reflective gold foil embellishments have been used to emphasise the product’s high-end nature and ensure it stands out on store shelves, it added.
