International fresh produce trade fair Freskon is set to return to the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center in Greece on 10-12 April, offering a platform for networking and business collaboration for companies in the region and beyond.

“The exhibition will feature a wide range of participants, including cooperatives, producers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, retailers, and logistics providers, all eager to explore new business opportunities,” the organisers, Tif-Helexpo, stated. “Freskon will also host approximately 140 buyers from 40 countries, along with organised trade delegations from across the Balkans, providing exhibitors with valuable access to global markets.”

Freskon conference

As usual, one of the key highlights of Freskon 2025 will be the FreshCon Market, now in its ninth year. “This event, in collaboration with Froutonea magazine, connects fresh produce professionals with buyers from major supermarket chains in Greece, the Balkans and south-east Europe,” Tif-Helexpo said. “It’s an unmissable opportunity for participants to strengthen their market presence and forge new partnerships.”

Freskon will also feature parallel events, including the International Pear Conference, which will delve into the latest technologies in pear preservation and distribution, innovative cultivation techniques and the market trends shaping the pear industry.

“Other workshops and seminars will cover figs, persimmons, yellow kiwifruit, and broader topics such as fruit and vegetable exports and nursery materials,” the organisers revealed. “Simultaneously, the Logistics & Transport Thessaloniki Expo, dedicated to the transport and logistics sector, will provide further opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange, particularly with the addition of the LOGI.C logistics conferences.”
