Zespri has launched a campaign promoting the consumption of its kiwifruit in Canada through a new website, which features three different games and a contest to win a trip for four people to New Zealand.
The site, which was designed by communications specialist BrandFX, is fronted by newly-created brand characters Harry and Goldie who represent the green and gold varieties of the fruit respectively.
As part of the promotion, the two characters show site visitors the different activities that competition winners can undertake in New Zealand, while also taking part in three games demonstrating the versatility of kiwifruit .
'We are thrilled with the response to this campaign,' said Zespri representative Karen Brux. 'It has really allowed us to expand our brand to a great market and engage the consumer in a way that resonates with people today.'
