A number of summer promotional initiatives have been unveiled by Avocados from Mexico, the marketing body consisting of the Mexican Hass Avocado Importers Association (MHAIA) and the the Producers and Packers of Avocados from Michoacán (APEAM).
'Avocados from Mexico is springing forward with a host of exciting promotions and contests to drive consumer demand for fresh avocados,' the group revealed. 'From light and healthy spring recipes to Cinco de Mayo fiesta foods, consumers are turning to Avocados from Mexico to make their meals more amazing.'
Among the promotional efforts are 'Feel Good. Eat Great.', a new public service announcement featuring Maria Menounos encouraging viewers to find self esteem by making healthy eating and exercise choices, and 'Celebrate Grilling Season', which looks to tie in the use of avocados with national burger month.
The promotional push will also feature 'Hit the Road with Celebrity Nutritionist' featuring The Biggest Loser chef, dietician and nutritionist Cheryl Forberg, and 'Learn 5 Ways in 5 Days', which will see recipes and tip cards presented in food and lifestyle publications.
