Enza Zaden’s Tribelli sweet peppers continue to make inroads in European markets. The tricolour peppers are already well known among professionals and thanks to Enza Zaden’s extensive marketing campaign the brand is increasingly connecting with consumers.
“Most of the large European chains already have Tribelli as a reference brand for sweet peppers. In fact, what we are seeing is that supermarkets such as Kaufland in Germany or Alcampo in Spain can find the logo on the packaging so that it is easily recognisable by end consumers,” said Giuseppina Inturrisi, marketing specialist at Enza Zaden.
“Thanks to a continuous effort in marketing, we are seeing that it is already the consumers themselves who are looking for the brand on the shelves.”
The brand will on display at next week’s Alimentaria food fair in Barcelona, as well as in Fruit Logistica in Berlin.
The company plans to ramp up marketing efforts this season with a wide range of activities planned for the final consumer.
“We have numerous actions planned in markets such as Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK,” Inturrisi explained.
“To the constant communication that we already maintain with consumers through social networks, we are adding activations at the point of sale, special collaborations with cooking schools, recipe channels, gastronomic events, influencers and much more.
'We want European consumers to know the brand and look for it on the shelves.”
Tribelli peppers are available in a mini snack format or in XL sizes ideal for cooking.
