Sunkist has entered a national strategic partnership with the US Department of Agriculture's Nutrition Communications Network.

The citrus marketer will start spreading the 'Make half your plate fruit and vegetables' message this autumn via its website and e-newsletter, as well as at various events.

Sunkist will also help the USDA roll out six follow-up messages – including 'Enjoy your food, but eat less' and 'Avoid oversized portions – over the next two years.

Advertising and PR manager Gina Widjaja described the partnership as "a natural fit and one we can build upon".
