The Stockton Group, a leader in the development of plant extract-based biopesticides, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Syngenta for the supply and distribution of the fungicide Timorex Gold for both the Chilean and Mexican markets.
Timorex Gold is an environmentally friendly fungicide based on natural ingredients found in plant extracts, optimising the grower's ability to manage pests and resistance while also minimising the environmental impact of pest controls used.
In Chile, Syngenta will distribute the product for the control of bacterial and fungal diseases found in table grapes, wine grapes, tomatoes and leafy vegetables, while in Mexico it will be used on tomatoes, bananas, papayas and a wide variety of other fruit and vegetables.
'We are proud of Syngenta's decision to distribute our flagship product, Timorex Gold, in Chile and Mexico,' said Ziv Tirosh, CEO of Stockton Israel. 'We believe that farmers in these countries will quickly realise the unique benefits of the product, and incorporate it into their spraying programmes.'
